Gardaí are investigating a fatal incident on the M1 motorway yesterday in which a woman fell from a moving car.
The 38-year-old woman fell from a car in which she was a rear-seat passenger close to Dublin airport. She was then struck by an oncoming vehicle.
The woman was taken to Beaumont Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Gardai have appealed for witnesses to contact Santry Garda Station at 01-6664000.
