Gardaí have launched an investigation into the alleged gang rape of a west Dublin teenager in the early hours of Tuesday morning, it was confirmed today.
The 17-year-old victim claims to have been attacked in a field by three men, one wielding a knife, as she walked home behind Mountview shopping centre, west Dublin at 4.30 a.m.
A Garda spokesman said the victim was from the Blanchardstown area and confirmed that no one had been arrested.
