Two people were arrested early yesterday morning in connection with arms offences in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin. Gardai have released few details about the incident but it is understood a firearm was discovered in the Garda operation.
A woman in her 20s and a man in his 40s were detained under the Offences Against the State Act, under which they can be held without charge for 72 hours.
