Gardai searching for a 19-year-old Wexford woman who has been missing for almost four months are draining a lake near her home.

Ms Fiona Sinnott's disappearance was being treated "very seriously", a Garda spokesman said last night. The woman, who lives with her one-year-old daughter Emma in Ballycushlane, Broadway, Co Wexford, was last seen leaving a local pub at closing time on February 8th. Gardai are draining Lady's Island Lake in Carne and searches in other local areas are continuing.

The case was highlighted recently on RTE's Crimeline programme, in which her last known movements were reconstructed.
