Three men were arrested in Tallaght this morning in relation to a burglary at a house in the Birchwood Drive area.
The theft occurred at about 7.30 a.m. when the men broke into a house and confronted the owner before fleeing on foot with a quantity of cash.
A short time later, three men were arrested and a firearm - believed to be an imitation - two knives and cash were recovered.
