Six men have been arrested by gardaí investigating the murder of David McGuinness in Dublin two weeks ago.
The men were arrested this morning at houses in Dundalk, Drogheda and Dublin. They are being questioned under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at a number of Garda stations in Dublin.
Mr McGuinness (35), who worked in the construction industry, was shot at the door of his home on the Balrothery Estate, Tallaght, early on the morning of July 8th.
Witnesses said a number of men fled the scene in two cars after the attack.
