Garda is Scouts commissioner

Mr Damien Scanlon, a Garda detective stationed at Crumlin, has been appointed National Commissioner (Scouts) by the National Executive of Scouting Ireland (CSI). He intends to combat falling membership with a road show, a poster campaign and an increase in youth training courses.
