Three women escaped serious injury last night during an attack on a home in Newtownards, Co Down.
According to a PSNI spokeswoman, the women were in a house in Trasna Drive at around 11.45 p.m. when it was attacked by a gang of men wielding baseball bats, hammers and stones.
They smashed the living room windows, showering the women inside with broken glass. One of the women suffered minor cuts, while the other two were unharmed.
The attackers then fled in two cars.
Police are investigating a motive for the attack and have appealed for witnesses.
