Assembly members from Tyrone have been urged to lobby at Stormont for funding for improvements to one of Northern Ireland's worst accident blackspots.

The A4 between Dungannon and Ballygawley was omitted from the recent £87 million cash windfall announced for road improvements. Now Dungannon councillor Mr Vincent Currie has asked the council's Assembly representatives to push for cash which he said will save lives. More than 30 people have died in accidents on the 10-mile stretch during the past decade.
