Gardaí in Cork have issued a fresh appeal over a road traffic crash last week in which a pedestrian died.

Regina Kennedy (37), of Blarney Street in Cork, died at the scene of the collision in Carrshill, Douglas on November 14th.

Officers are still anxious to speak to anyone who could help trace her movements that night.

Gardai are appealing for any taxi or hackney drivers who may have picked up a woman on Patrick St, Cork, between 1.30am and 2.15am on the night in question and taken her to Kilbrody, Mount Oval Estate, Douglas to contact them.

Ms Kennedy, formerly of Edgeworthstown in Co Longford, was last seen in the South Mall area of Douglas at around 10.30pm.
