Durban - Gays and lesbians in Uganda are free to live out their sexual orientation, as long as they "did it quietly", President Yoweri Museveni has said.

At a press conference after the Commonwealth summit the president, who recently called for the arrest of homosexuals, warned that they should not "flaunt" themselves in public.
