Floor trading at the Deutsche Boerse has been suspended as a result of a bomb scare, dealers said.

German police said they received a phone call at 11.00 a.m. from an unknown caller warning that a bomb would explode at noon.

The caller did not say if the bomb had been placed in the operational headquarters in Hausen, Frankfurt, or in the building where floor trading takes place.

Both buildings have been evacuated and searched, the police said. No one at Deutsche Boerse was available for comment.
