Four youths were injured in Limerick city last night when they were attacked by another youth weilding a shotgun.
None of the injuries is believed to be life-threatening but one of the youths suffered injuries to the chest and arm when the two shots were fired.
Another of the injured is believed to be only 12 years old.
A Garda spokesman said the shotgun attack happened outside a house in Demege Park, Moyross at 9.45 p.m.
No arrests have been made, he added.
