A four-year old girl died in an accident in Derry city last night, police said.
The girl died when she was struck by a vehicle on the Creggan Link Road near Cashelmore Park at 6.40 p.m.
A PSNI spokesman said police crews came under attack by stone-throwers between 9 and 10 p.m. in the aftermath of the incident.
