Gardaí in Limerick are continuing to question four men who were arrested after a leading member of one of the city's feuding families escaped injury in a shooting  at a fast food restaurant yesterday.

The man in his 20s was shot at twice as he was sitting in his car outside McDonalds' in the Crescent Shopping Centre,  Dooradoyle by the pillion passenger on a motorcycle.

Both shots missed and the man was driven away from the scene.

The four suspects were later arrested at Fedamore and brought to Roxboro Garda Station for questioning.
