LONDON - The foster father of a schoolgirl, Billie-Jo Jenkins, was remanded in custody for a week by magistrates yesterday after being charged with her murder.
The deputy headmaster, Mr Sion Jenkins (39), appeared before a special sitting of Hastings magistrates, 24 hours after being re-arrested by police investigating the brutal killing of the 13-year-old girl.
