The European Cup semi-final between Leicester and Llanelli will take place at Nottingham Forest's City Ground, it was confirmed this evening.

A venue for the semi-final between Munster and Castres will be announced tomorrow. The venue will definitely be in France as Castres were drawn as the ‘home’ team.

Munster’s match will take place on Saturday, April 28th while Leicester and Llanelli meet the following day at 3 p.m. in the afternoon.

European Rugby Cup officials have also confirmed dates, venues and kick-off times for three of the four semi-finals of the Heineken Cup and Parker Pen Shield.

The Parker Pen Shield semi-final between London Irish and Pontypridd will take place on Saturday, April 27th at The Kassam Stadium, Oxford (kick-off 5.30 p.m.), with Gloucester and Sale Sharks contesting the other semi-final a day later at Franklin's Gardens, Northampton (kick-off 2pm).
