Diyarbakir - Three Kurdish rebels and two security officers were killed in separate clashes this week in the mountains of eastern Turkey, officials said yesterday.

Turkish troops killed three members of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) and two soldiers were wounded in fighting late on Tuesday in Diyarbakir province, a security official said. One of the rebels killed was a woman, he said.
