Five young people were injured early yesterday when a man fired two shots from a sawn-off shotgun in Finglas, Dublin

Five young people were injured early yesterday when a man fired two shots from a sawn-off shotgun in Finglas, Dublin. The injured were among a group of young people congregating at Virginia Drive, when they were approached by a group of men, one of whom discharged the shotgun.

Later three men were arrested and questioned under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Finglas Garda station. The injured were taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown.
