Five men have appeared in court in London in connection with an alleged plot to kidnap singer Victoria Beckham.
The four Romanians and one Kosovan Albanian are accused of plotting the abduction on or before November 2nd last year.
Judge Fabyan Evans, sitting at Middlesex Guildhall Crown Court, central London, remanded them in custody until June 2nd for another hearing.
One of the men, Mr Adrian Razvan Pasareanu is to additionally face a charge of having a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence on or about October 25th, 2002. A further, similarly worded alternative count relating to him involves an imitation firearm.
