Five people have been arrested in relation to an investigation into serious crime in the north inner Dublin city area.
The four men and a woman, aged between early 20s and late 40s, were arrested after gardaí carried out a number of planned searches in the Cabra area yesterday evening.
Two firearms and ammunition were seized in the operation.
The five suspects are being held in Store Street, Finglas and Mountjoy Garda stations under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
