Five men are still being held over the seizure of 100 kilos of cannabis resin worth an estimated €1.3 million in Limerick yesterday.

Officers from the Garda National Drugs Unit assisted by gardaí from Kerry, Cork and Clare seized the drugs after searching a car outside Adare.

A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene, while four others were held during follow-up operations.

All five are being questioned in Garda stations in Limerick and Kerry.
