A serious fish kill on one of the most popular salmon-fishing rivers in the West is being investigated by the north western regional fisheries board.
The kill on the River Moy included up to 2000 young salmon and trout. It was discovered on Sunday at Banada Co, Sligo.
The cause of kill is not yet known.
