Fianna Fáil has taken out a full-page advertisement in London's The Timesnewspaper, demanding plans for the new nuclear waste plant at Sellafield be abandoned.
It is endorsed by the Taoiseach Mr Bertie Ahern and signed by every member of the party.

"Shut Sellafield!", the advertisement says. "Sellafield poses an unacceptable and unnecessary risk to our environment."
"Furthermore, in the aftermath of the September 11 assault... we also believe that Sellafield poses a grave security risk to both our countries."
A BNFL spokesman said it would be inappropriate to comment on the advertisement, saying it was "an issue between the two governments".
The Government confirmed this month that action would be initiated at the European Court of Justice in a bid to force the cancellation of the MOX project.
Earlier this week it spelt out its opposition at a session in Hamburg, German, of the UN Law of the Sea conference.
Ireland has been consistently opposed to all activity at Sellafield for a number of years, and have undertaken a number of legal efforts to force its closure.
Inter-governmental representations over the MOX venture - set for commissioning on December 20th - have included discussions on the issue involving Mr Ahern and Mr Tony Blair.
The British government has defended its position, saying in a written response to the UN tribunal that the UK did not plan any action in the near or long term that would damage Ireland's rights under the sea convention or cause serious harm to the marine environment.
The UN tribunal is expected to rule in early December on whether Ireland should be granted an injunction.
The question is certain to feature prominently again at the end of next week, when Mr Blair visits Dublin for a meeting of the British-Irish Council.
