Fianna Fail has produced summaries of its manifesto on tape and in Braille. The party unveiled the new formats yesterday while presenting its policy statement on disability.
The party's disability spokeswoman, Ms Mary Wallace, said the statement was the most comprehensive issued yet. Its core principles were the need to move away from "a medical model of disability" towards policies which are "empowering, flexible and responsive".
