Bulawayo - Zimbabwe's white farming community yesterday buried a 72-year-old woman shot dead outside her isolated homestead and blamed President Robert Mugabe's government for her murder.
They gathered near Bulawayo, Zimbabwe's second city, for the second time in a year to pray for a murdered member of the same family. Last year they buried Martin Olds, the second of six white farmers killed in a violent campaign to redistribute land.
Yesterday they gathered at the same church to bury Mr Olds's mother, Gloria, who was shot 15 times on Sunday in a dawn ambush on the farm she managed alone.
