The Football Association of Ireland's finance committee will meet on Wednesday morning to discuss a Sunday Tribune article alleging FAI chief executive Bernard O'Byrne had "misused" an association credit card.

In a statement released by the FAI, the purpose of Wednesday’s meeting is to "examine and clarify the issues and protect the interests of the Association and its employees."
