The Limerick woman who won more than €115 million in last Friday's EuroMillions lottery draw has yet to claim her prize, the National Lottery has said.
Dolores McNamara (45), a mother of six from Garryowen, won Europe's largest lottery jackpot to date, but has still not come forward with her winning ticket.
A spokeswoman for the National Lottery said the ticket holder must make a formal claim by attending in person with their ticket at the lottery's headquarters in Abbey Street, Dublin.
The lottery had received "no formal contact" from Ms McNamara by yesterday evening, she said, but the cheque would not be available until this afternoon at the earliest. "The winner has 90 days from last Friday to collect their prize, but we are hoping contact will be made a lot earlier than that."
A Hungarian chef, who also won in last Friday's draw, has come forward to collect his winnings. The single man, who has decided to remain anonymous, won €667,248 in the EuroMillions draw.
Originally from Debrecen in Hungary but living in Dublin, the man said he hoped to settle permanently in Ireland.
"In Hungary, this prize is the equivalent of 163 million Hungarian forint - which is about 100 years' wages," he said.
He had not yet decided what to do with his winnings, but would like a ticket for Dublin's All-Ireland football quarter final.
