EU officials at Moscow summit

Moscow - European Commission President, Mr Romano Prodi, the EU foreign policy co-ordinator, Mr Javier Solana, and other officials arrived in Moscow yesterday for a summit which Mr Prodi said held great importance for both sides. Mr Prodi, EU External Relations Commissioner, Mr Chris Patten, Portugal's Prime Minister, Mr Antonio Guterres and Foreign Minister Mr Jaime Gama are to attend the one-day round of talks today with President Vladimir Putin and other senior officials.
