Cricket: England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff will miss today's third NatWest Series contest against India at Edgbaston.
The 29-year-old injured his right knee in the second match at Bristol on Friday, which India won to level the series at 1-1, and had a cortisone injection in a bid to play today.
But the England management decided not to risk him, having waited until the final series of the summer for him to play.
Flintoff has missed Test series against West Indies and the Indians due to an ankle injury as well as the first NatWest Series of the international season.
