Gardai have appealed for witnesses to a fatal traffic accident last night in which an elderly woman was killed while crossing a main road near her home in east Cork.
The woman in her 70s is believed to have been hit by a car and a truck while crossing the main Cork Waterford Road at Ballindinin between Killeagh and Castlemartyr.
