Dissident republicans have been blamed for a gun attack on a west Belfast RUC station on Thursday night. Several shots were fired at Woodburne RUC base. Eight people were detained after police searched two cars and found an AK47 assault rifle, a magazine, several rounds of ammunition and a handgun.
