BLOGWATCH: IRISH PAPER 2
ORDINARY LEVEL
Basically, I’m right on the very edge between pass and fail. By my estimates, I got about 100-130 marks from paper 1, 30-50 from the listening, and 0-20 from paper 2. Which means I’ve got 130-200, plus whatever I got in the orals, [of] which I really have no idea. Probably in the 40-100 area. Meaning my overall marks could be 170 pessimistically, or 300 optimistically.
Since it’s 240 marks to pass, I’ll be nail-biting until the results are released. Y’know, a laidback, casual sort of nail-biting. ’Cause like, I’m totally hardcore.

Been home 20 minutes now. Thank God for dropping to Comedy Level Irish in time.

What did everyone think? Personally I didn’t do the first question, and accidentally did only one of the poems. There’s my A gone out the window! But if I get a B1 or 2 I’ll be happy too.

I finished Honours Irish in 2½ hours exactly. I thought it was grand.

IRISH PAPER 2 HIGHER LEVEL
That paper was great . . . If you’ve a head like an elephant. I personally did not like it, but not because the paper was difficult. Generally it was a very fair paper.
This time around I know I didn’t do enough preparation, but I thought my own standard of Irish would carry me through. It didn’t really.

Lovely paper. Got two pages for the Lig sin i gCathú question. The An Trial Qs were grand . . .
The first da mb’fheider Q was a bit awkward, but apart from that the paper was grand.

BUSINESS JUNIOR CERTIFICATE
It was easy, everything I studied came up, I think there was one short Q that I wasn’t sure (but I think I got it right anyways) and I hardly had enough room for the longs, loved it!

I can tell you that this was my hardest test yet and my second time staying for the complete time next to English.
