THE first degree course for nurses has been established in DCU. The programme, which involves a three month access course followed by a one year part time degree programme, provides registered nurses with an opportunity to advance their knowledge of the profession in the context of changes and developments in health care.

The first intake of 25 nurses, from hospitals in Dublin and outside Dublin, commenced their studies last week.
