The National College of Ireland (NCI) is to relocate its campus to a new site at the 12-acre extension of the International Financial Services Centre in Dublin's Docklands. Building on the new site will begin in October and is expected to be finished by the spring of 2002. Professor Joyce O'Connor, president of NCI, says that with the construction of the new Docklands site the NCI aims to "create a `campus without walls', building a bridge between business and the community". Citibank will contribute £135,000 to the project.
