THE Galway branch of the Irish Maths Teachers' Association is organising a one-day seminar on Saturday, April 13th, for Leaving Cert higher-level maths students. Lectures will be held in UCG from 9.30 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. and the course fee of £15 includes lunch in the college canteen.

Four experienced teachers of higher-level maths will give lectures on sequences and series, trigonometry, differential calculus, permutations and combinations, probability and statistics.
