Students who want to work with horses should attend one of a series of open days at the Racing Apprentice Centre of Education (RACE) at Curragh House, Dublin Road, in Kildare town. The first day is Wednesday, April 21st, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. The next will be held on Wednesday, April 28th, at the same times. There will be two more afternoons Wednesday, May 12th, and Wednesday, May 19th. For information, phone (045) 522808.
