Meanwhile, JBA Software Products (Ireland) Ltd is recruiting 36 Irish graduates this year to train as software engineers in Dublin before placement worldwide. A numberate degree is required, with exposure to programming, although the language involved is irrelevant.

Asea Brown Boveri, a $34 billion engineering group with 210,000 employees worldwide, is looking for applications engineers for its Dundalk plant. Applicants should have a good degree in software/engineering, as well as some experience of systems engineering, neural networks, fuzzy logic and Oracel, TCP/ IP, Unix and C plus plus programming.
