THE Irish Times is doing its bit to bring a bit of culture to the masses with Campus Classics, a series of informally presented classical music concerts presented in association with RTE.

The series kicked off last week in UCG and UCD. This week finds it once again in UCD, with a concert featuring acclaimed classical guitarist John Feeley in Giuliani's Guitar Concerto in A on Thursday. The concert also features Schubert's Third Symphony and Brahms' Serenade No 1. The concert will be repeated in Dundalk RTC on Friday January 31st.

Next week, UCD is again the venue for a concert featuring Verdi's Requiem on February 13th, to be repeated on February 15th in UCC. The final concerts, including works by Tchaikovsky, Wagner and Sibelius, will take place in UL on February 19th and UCD on February 20th.
