Aston Villa striker Dion Dublin has insisted that he will see out the remaining two-and-a-half years of his contract and in the process he has quashed speculation that he may be moving to Leicester City.

Dublin has been linked with a move to Leicester who are keen to add to their fire power given than Ade Akinbiyi could be returning to Wolves.

But Dublin is adamant that he will stay with Villa until his current contract runs out in the summer of 2004 when he will be 35.

Dublin said: "I've got a contact here until I am 35 and I have every intention of seeing it out.

"I signed a long deal when I moved here from Coventry and I have no intention of going anywhere else.

"We have a strong squad here now, probably the best since I joined the club, and I really feel that this could be the season when we make a serious impact on the Premiership.
