A software company making anti-crime systems for financial organisations is to create over 100 jobs, it was revealed today.

A software company making anti-crime systems for financial organisations is to create over 100 jobs, it was revealed today.

Norkom Technologies, based in Dublin, said the new posts will be part of an €11.4 million investment plan to be rolled out over the next two years.

Enterprise Ireland is injecting €4 million into the expansion of the firm. Some 70 of the expected 111 new jobs to be created will be in the knowledge-based research and development sector.

Norkom's software is used by financial organisations in more than 100 countries across four continents including four of the worlds' top ten banks.

It already employs 136 people at its Dublin headquarters.
