Dublin based Educational Multimedia Corporation will cut 58 of its staff in Dublin and the US, blaming the slowing US economy.
The company said following today's restructuring that 50 people will remain employed within the company, most of whom will be on contract.
The company said a restructuring was needed due to lower-than-expected growth in the US e-learning market and difficult capital market conditions.
