Cocaine worth €108,000 was seized in Dublin airport yesterday, Revenue's Customs Service said today.

The drugs were found in the false bottom of a suitcase, according to a statement.

A South African man (34) who had arrived on a flight from Zurich en route from Nairobi was arrested.

He is being questioned by officers from the Garda Drugs Unit based in Santry and is due to appear in court today.

So far this year Customs in Dublin airport have seized drugs with an estimated street value of €1,078,845.
