Howth-based software firm Datalex said it has been contracted to supply the new travel agency technology platform for Japanese travel agency group JTB.
The contract awarded to Datalex, which develops software for the aviation and travel sector, is the first of its kind to be awarded by JTB to a foreign technology company.
The multi-year agreement will see Datalex working with JTB's internal IT organisation, JTB Systems Solution, and a number of local Japanese partners.
The Datalex solution is based on the components of the BookIt! suite of software.
