Part of the DART service was halted for about 45 minutes yesterday when an ESB pole was struck by a No 17 bus and almost crashed into overhead cabling at Blackrock station. Services were stopped between Dun Laoghaire and Booterstown from around 3.10 p.m. while ESB engineers made repairs. The bus driver and a member of the public were hospitalised with shock.
