Jericho - Palestinian security forces clamped a curfew on Jericho Sunday in a hunt for a top militant Islamist who escaped from jail in the West Bank town. The curfew went into effect a day after Imad Awadallah broke out of a Palestinian prison in Jericho. He was being held on accusations that he shot dead the Hamas master bombmaker, Muhyideen al-Sharif, in an internal power struggle.
