Actor Macaulay Culkin has admitted he frequently shared Michael Jackson 's bed but denied he was molested by the singer.

The Home Alonestar branded the child abuse allegations "absolutely ridiculous" and said he had never seen Jackson act inappropriately with anyone.

Culkin told Santa Maria court, California, that although the pair had shared a bed, he was always fully clothed and could not believe he had been named in court as an alleged victim.

Asked specifically whether Jackson had ever molested him, the actor replied: "Never." Asked whether he had been improperly touched, he said: "Absolutely not."

He said he found it "amazing" that no one had ever approached him about the allegations, and said the first he heard of them was on the television news.

The actor (24), who is godfather to Jackson 's eldest child, is the third alleged victim to testify in Jackson 's defence.

He took the stand to refute allegations made by former Neverland staff, including a chef who testified that he caught Jackson with his hand down Culkin's pants in 1991.

He admitted sleeping in Jackson 's bed several times between the ages of 10 and 14, but said nothing was planned and that he often played so hard he would just fall asleep when he was tired.

Culkin rejected the suggestion that he could have been abused whilst asleep.
