Crosscare, the social care agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Dublin, which holds its annual collection tomorrow, provides over 13,000 bed nights in four homeless projects, as well as close to 30,000 hot meals to people from its three city centre food centres.
The collection at all Masses is a vital source of income, said the agency, which also supported 50 vulnerable boys in residential projects and helped over 400 families through its Teen Counselling service.
