A crowd of 79,000 will throng to the capital venue for the 5 p.m. throw-in.

Fans formed large queues at Croke Park this afternoon as remaining tickets went on sale.

This year 902,889 fans have attended 62 football championship games and the GAA will break the one million fans barrier after this weekend’s two quarter-final replays.

Armagh play Sligo in Navan on Sunday (5.15 p.m).
