A suspicious object has been discovered inside the perimeter fence of a British army barracks in Lisburn, Co Antrim.
Police are on the scene at Thiepval Barracks and a bomb disposal unit are due to inspect the device.
A section of the Magheralave Road has been closed and a number of homes in the area have been evacuated. Diversions are in place in the area.
